Blood cannot be manufactured. When an emergency strikes, a mother faces complications, a patient undergoes surgery, or someone battles a life-threatening illness, the blood already available can mean the difference between waiting and surviving.
On August 30, 2026, the Rotary Club of Commonwealth joined the Rotary Club of Metro Tanauan and Sto. Tomas, Rotary Club of Ayala Greenfield, Rotary Club of Downtown Taysan, Rotaract Club of Sto. Tomas, and volunteer organizations for a collaborative Blood Donation Drive in Tanauan City, Batangas.
More than collecting blood, the project brought together people and organizations with one shared purpose: to make sure that when someone needs blood, someone has already chosen to give.
Every donated bag of blood carries possibilities we may never witness: an emergency overcome, a treatment continued, a family given more time. For the Rotary Club of Commonwealth, this collaboration reflects an important part of our action plan: to expand our reach by building meaningful partnerships with people who share the spirit of Service Above Self. Because the needs of our communities are greater than what any one club can address alone.
That is lasting impact, not measured only by what we accomplished that day, but by the lives that may continue because people came together and gave a part of themselves so that others may live.
Together, we give hope. Together, we create lasting impact.
